Take Control
Residential Treatment Centers
A residential treatment center, or RTC, is usually a state licensed program that targets specific needs and problems with a teen such as suicidal behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, mental & emotional problems, depression, eating disorders, etc. A residential treatment center, or RTC, is a psychiatric treatment program that provides 24-hour supervision, structure, and treatment.
A team of mental health professionals works intensively with the adolescent to stabilize symptoms while providing a safe living environment. The staff works with parents or caretakers to explore what changes might be necessary in the home and community to support a permanent change in the troubled teen.
Our RTC programs are long-term programs lasting about one year. All of our programs are academically accredited, so your teen will complete schoolwork and learn practical skills while in a safe, home-like, yet structured environment. Counseling is the focus of our programs and we offer individual, group, and family therapy as well as “out-of-office” techniques like community service.
